This week the focus is on handing down something to our community and families that matters, that makes a positive difference their lives. It is easy to forget that our actions are doing this much more than our words at times. It takes deliberate time and attention to look at what our actions are handing down to those we live with and serve.
We are instructed to invite God into the process and since He knows us best, this is great advice. I find that I often don’t know myself as well as I think I do!
As a “forward thinker,” the practice of reviewing my day at night is one I rarely indulge in. I’m always looking at what’s coming up, what’s on my plate for the next day. Perhaps I’d make less of the same mistakes if I reviewed my day with guidance of the Holy Spirit before bed?
How about you? Do you have any thoughts to share about this chapter? I’d love to hear them!
